It has just been announced that Natalie Imbruglia will appear as a special guest for Will Young, with the pair set to play Dreamland in Margate on Friday 23rd June 2023.
One of Australia’s most loved pop artists, Natalie Imbruglia first stole our hearts over 25 years ago with her chart-topping cover of the iconic track, Torn, which remains the most played song on Australian radio since 1990.
Since then, she has released six studio albums, and in 2021 she made a triumphant comeback with her critically acclaimed Top 10 album, ‘Firebird’. Natalie has won 8 Aria’s, 2 Brit Awards, one Billboard Music Award and received three Grammy Nominations.
Most recently, Natalie had a cameo in the final ever episode of Neighbours where she played Beth Brennan, and she also won the third series of the UK version of The Masked Singer.
She will be appearing alongside Will Young at Margate’s popular amusement park, Dreamland, in June.
Will Young has spent the last two decades at the forefront of pop after coming onto the scene in 2002. His expansive career has culminated in six top 10 albums in the music charts, two BRIT Awards, four UK number one singles and hits including ‘Leave Right Now’, ‘Evergreen’ and ‘Jealousy’.
Alongside his music career blossomed a successful acting career, securing roles on both stage and screen. His acting work includes the Judi Dench film ‘Mrs Henderson Presents’, as well as presenting roles on TV and radio. Will’s mental health podcast ‘The Wellbeing Lab’ just wrapped its first season and his two recent books focusing on mental health ‘To Be A Gay Man’ and ‘Be Yourself And Happier’ are available now.
2022 marks the 20th anniversary since Will Young was voted the original Pop Idol winner and saw him release his highest-ever charting singles collection ‘20 Years: The Greatest Hits’, embarking on a sold-out UK headline tour.
20 years on from the Pop Idol final, the celebration of his career will continue at the iconic Scenic Stage, Dreamland, Margate on Friday 23rd June 2023.
