Privacy Policy At Positive Media Group Ltd we are committed to protecting your personal information and privacy. This policy explains why we collect your data, what we do and how we store your data. Any changes we make to this policy will be updated on this page, so please do check from time to time to ensure you are happy with any changes we may make. By using our websites you are agreeing to all points covered in this policy. Who are we? Positive Media Group Ltd publishes two magazines - Swindon Link and digital publication The Ocelot. Swindon Link is a local community news magazine distributed to 50,000 homes with an estimated readership of 2.5 readers per magazine totalling an average readership of 125,000. The Ocelot magazine is an online publication, and is well known as the local what’s on guide with regular venues sending us their gig listings. We also produce an annual festival guide and biannual theatre guide. How do we collect your information? If you subscribe to our newsletter or any of our online subscriptions, you will enter your name and e-mail address at the time of subscribing. You can edit your preferences and unsubscribe at any time. If you are an advertiser, we will obtain your information when we take a booking from you, you will provide us this information, and by doing so you are consenting for us to process and maintain this information. This information will be used to create your account, booking forms and invoices, then filed on our system for our own benefit and will not be used to spam you with e-mails or junk mail. Individuals have the right to request a copy of any information we hold - you can do this by e-mailing karen@positive-media.co.uk What type of information is collected from you? We collect information such as your name, e-mail address, telephone number, home/business address and IP address. How is your information used/stored? Your information is used purely for the purpose of Positive Media Group Ltd only. We will keep your information on file for 36 months, after which time we will write to you for further consent to retain your information, or at your request your information will be removed. You may wish to have your information deleted sooner than the 36 months, if this is the case, please e-mail our Office Manager, Karen Randall on karen@positive-media.co.uk  including as much information as possible so we can locate you and ensure your information is removed. You will receive one final e-mail confirming your information has successfully being removed. If you think there is a problem with the way Positive Media Group handles your data you should complain to the Information Commissioners Office (ICO). Who has access to your information? If you are a subscriber to www.swindonlink.com or www.theocelot.co.uk, you are signing up to receive our newsletter through www.mailchimp.com. If you are an advertiser, advertising in one of our magazines and you have requested us to produce an advert on your behalf, if this cannot be done in-house we will, send your designs and information on to our outsourced design company, to produce the advert for you. They will not sell or pass on any information to other third party companies. How can you access or update your information? The accuracy of the information that we hold is important to us and we will always look to improve ways that you can access and update the information that we hold on you. Links to other websites Our website may contain links to other websites run by other organisations; this privacy policy only applies to www.swindonlink.com and www.theocelot.com. We cannot be responsible for the privacy and practices of other sites, so we would suggest reading each individual site’s privacy policy for more information. 16 or under We are concerned to protect the privacy of young children under the age of 16 years old and would ask that you seek a parent or guardian’s permission before submitting any personal information Review Date This policy was last updated July 2019 and will be reviewed annually.
