Less than one month to go until stellar Forest Live line-up comes to Westonbirt Arboretum

This July, Forest Live (presented by Forestry England) will showcase live sets at Westonbirt Arboretum from an all-star line-up including Gregory Porter, Van Morrison, Nile Rodgers & CHIC and more.

Forest Live, the annual concert series from Forestry England, returns this year to Westonbirt Arboretum and other forest sites around the UK, with another incredible line-up of musicians.

On 4 July, Gregory Porter will be playing  at Westonbirt, the popular arboretum located in Gloucestershire. Following this, on 5 July, Anne-Marie will be headlining (with support from Mae Stephens + Devon), on 6 July there will be a performance from The Corrs, on 7 July, blues and soul icon Van Morrison will be performing, and last but by no means least, on 12 July, Nile Rodgers & CHIC (with support from Sophie Ellis-Bextor + Deco) will be closing the run of Forest Live shows at Westonbirt.

In total, there will be 24 Forest Live shows across six unique forest sites up and down the country.

As well as the line-up listed above coming to Westonbirt, other Forest Live event sites will see (or have already seen) performances from Canadian rock great Bryan Adams, singer-songwriter Olly Murs, British dance-pop artist Becky Hill, indie stalwarts The Charlatans and Johnny Marr, charismatic hit-maker Sir Tom Jones, celebrated singer-songwriter Richard Ashcroft, British superstar Paloma Faith, and the legendary Sting.

Nestled amongst the trees in six breathtaking spots across the UK, the shows will take place at Gloucestershire’s Westonbirt Arboretum, North Yorkshire’s Dalby Forest, Sherwood Pines in Nottinghamshire, High Lodge Thetford Forest in Suffolk, and Cannock Chase Forest in Staffordshire.

There were also a spate of shows earlier this month at Cheshire’s Delamere Forest (the line-up included Becky Hill, Sting, Nile Rodgers & CHIC, and Bryan Adams.

Bringing some of biggest names in music to a selection of stunning forest settings across June and July, these outdoor concert events will raise money to continue Forestry England’s important conservation work, maintain the nation’s natural areas and keep planting trees.

A spokesperson for the conservation organisation said: “Last year Forestry England planted some 7.4 million trees, cared for the nation’s 1,500 woods and forests sustainably and welcomed 291 million visits in 2022-23. Everyone in England lives within a one-hour drive of one of the nation’s forests. Over two million people have enjoyed the Forest Live gigs over the last 23 years.”

Tickets for all shows are available from forestlive.com, and fans can sign up for information, announcements and more online at https://subscribe.forestryengland.uk/ForestLiveNewWebsitesignupform/.
