Eggstraordinary Easter fun at Oxford Castle Unlocked

This Easter families are invited to play at being master chocolatiers at Oxford Castle Unlocked!

Workshops will run throughout the bank holiday weekend March 30 to April 1, offering the opportunity to ice and decorate your very own Easter egg. The chocolatey activity will take place in the castle’s Key Learning Centre where there will also be treats, crafts and lots of Easter fun!

Elsewhere across the ancient castle site, join one of the attraction’s regular 40-minute guided tours running every day of the Easter break (adults £11.50, children £7.95, concessions £9.75); take a short hike up the Castle Mound for breath-taking views over the city (entry to the mound £1 or free with a castle ticket) and find out about the brilliant work of the RSPCA who will have a stand in the castle yard during the weekend.

Oxford Castle Unlocked is located on the former site of HMP Oxford but has stood as a Castle for 1000 years. The attraction offers daily guided tours explaining the origins of Oxford and the role the castle played in the city’s rich history.
