Nya King brings the music of Whitney Houston to Swindon

By Tyler Ody

Nya King will be performing a tribute to Whitney Houston at Swindon’s Meca this April.

The Meca team say they are pleased to announce that their Whitney Houston tribute evening will be returning this year on Saturday, 9 April.

Nya King will be joined by a live band and backing singers. The evening will also feature a special guest and DJ Ekom will be playing a set before and after the main show.

The entertainment will start at 7pm and the event will run until 1am.

A spokesperson for the event said: “If you “Wanna Dance With Somebody” then look no further. All it takes is “One Moment in Time” to bring a “Higher Love” with all of the greatest Whitney hits! You can get “So Emotional”, “It’s Not Right, but It’s Okay!”

Meca are running a February early bird ticket offer for £16 (plus booking fee) and also offer VIP packages.

Silver VIP packages cost £120 and include two bottles of Moet & Chandon, a table in the exclusive balcony VIP area, and queue jump access for up to eight people.

Gold VIP packages cost £130 and include a choice of a 70cl bottle of premium spirit, two jugs of a chosen mixer, a table in the exclusive baclony VIP area and queue jump access for up to eight people.

The VIP packages exclude admission costs and can be purchased in advance only and each VIP group can have a maximum of eight people. All members of VIP parties must arrive by 9.30pm at the latest.
