Brews & Eats

The Jolly Postboys Beer Festival takes place this weekend.

And it’s going to be a bit different.

Drew Brammer, of the Oxford pub found in Florence Park Road, said: “The beer festival is focused on the modern side of real Ale and craft beer, those pushing boundaries, those creating new flavours, those looking at beer differently and also those just making cracking local brews!

“We have scoured (and tasted) the length and breadth of this land to bring you 20 specially chosen and curated beers, each different from one another and each something really quite special in it’s own right.”

Breweries they are planning to include are Magic Rock, Buxton, Thornbridge, Saltaire, Dark Star, Loose Cannon, Cloudwater, BrewByNumbers and more of the like.

It’s not all about just cask (real) ale as they’ll also have a kegged beers for you all to try. With four keg lines running over the weekend showcasing the weird and the wonderful.

There will be live music, beer boards, and delicious food to keep hunger at bay and keep the beer flowing.
