Fauna launches its stylish audio eyewear offering the ultimate in style, functionality and crystal-clear audio

London, 17th February 2021: Audio wearable specialist brand, Fauna, is pleased to announce the launch of its revolutionary audio glasses in the UK and US market. Its Spiro Transparent Brown sunglasses and the Memor Havana glasses with blue light filter lenses will be available to purchase from Look Again and wearfauna.com for £249, €249 and $299. Both models are compatible with iPhone 5 or later and Android 6.0 or later and use Bluetooth 5.0 with a range of up to 10 metres.

The tiny lightweight micro speakers and microphones are integrated into the frames of Fauna glasses, giving hours of great audio without compromising on comfort. The audio module in each temple and each module includes a patented MEMS microspeaker, an electrodynamic speaker, a touch-pad, associated electronics and a battery. Two microphones are also integrated into the right temple with beam-forming and echo cancelling. The temples remain slim and lightweight despite all the electronics inside with both glasses weighing just 50g.

The Spiro and Memor Havana both have high-quality Italian acetate frames with adjustable temple lengths, a standard in the eyewear industry and optimal for fit and wearing comfort. Fauna Audio Glasses come with a charging case that allows re-charging of the glasses on the go up to 5 times and connects via Bluetooth with a smartphone or PC; a specific app is not required. The glasses are controlled by touching and swiping on the temples.
The battery for both glasses provides up to 20 hours standby and more than 5 hours of music, voice assistant and phone calls in play time. With a 100mAh battery in the glasses and a 1300mAh battery in the charging case, there should be plenty to keep users going whether commuting, travelling or just on a walk. Once battery is running low, the glasses charging time and charging case charging time is both 2 hours so can be fully charged again quickly. Additionally, both glasses models are IP52 water and dust resistant.
The standard lenses provided can also easily be exchanged for prescription lenses by an optician due to the frames being made of natural acetate which can be heated and fitted by a professional.
The Memor Havana model includes replaceable Zeiss DuraVision© BlueProtect lenses which reduce blue light exposure from computers and phones which is proven to affect the circadian rhythm and cause poor sleep before bed.
The Spiro model includes replaceable Carl Zeiss Vision sun lenses, protecting eyes from UVA and UVB rays. Both models are (IP52) water and dust resistant and come with a 2-year warranty from purchase to ensure users are covered and have peace of mind when using. The standard lenses provided can also easily be exchanged for prescription lenses by an optician due to the frames being made of natural acetate which can be heated and fitted by a professional.
