Enjoy your favourite iconic movie themes by moonlight in Swindon

Swindon’s Meca will be hosting a tribute evening to the iconic movie themes from Hans Zimmer and John Williams in a moonlit setting.

Saturday 17 September will see the Meca open its doors to the public and invite them to enjoy some of the most well-loved and recognisable cinematic themes of all time. 

The show will start at 7pm, and attendees will be able to enjoy 1hr and 40 minutes of the most iconic movie scores. 

Some of the films the live chamber orchestra will be performing music from include:

  • E.T.
  • Indiana Jones 
  • Harry Potter
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • A Prayer for Peace
  • Pearl Harbour
  • Gladiator 
  • Inception
  • Sayuri’s Theme (From Memoirs of a Geisha)
  • The Dark Knight
  • Batman v Superman
  • Man of Steel
  • Pirates of the Caribbean

A spokesperson for the show said: “Experience cinema’s most iconic music performed by The London Film Music Chamber Orchestra in a moon-lit setting!”
